They made isekai ojisan which is peak netflix anime content. Instead of being negative think about the billions theyre pumping into the anime industry. anime is capitalism. You dont see socialism paying for anime content being produced. You can hate netflix but the fact is theyre funding anime that may not have been funded otherwise.

Netflix didn't make Isekai Ojisan. Like most of their "netflix originals" they actually have absolutely nothing to do with the anime other than buying the streaming rights for it.

valid point but studios need money to produce content. If netflix is willing to shell out more money than traditionally to make it exclusive so be it.

the anime was made became successful they bought the right to stream it the studio made more money but didn't made the money to start or finish their product due to Netflix the Japanese market did

it's an investment they won't invest in something they don't see successful already (or at least they hope it will)

If you think it's about the quality of their releases you're on the wrong track.
They don't create anything themselves, they simply buy the material that other people made. And as soon as they get powerful enough they will try to influence the original creators to make their work more appealing to western audiences.
If they wanna create their own animations they can go ahead, but they are not doing that. It's not like most mangakas are happy with what Netflix does with their material either. Usually they have no say in any Anime/Live Action adaption and don't get paid a single dime no matter how much money Netflix makes from their work.

That's the issue. MAPPA's solid with animation, but what made this show standout amongst their catalog of anime is, the crazy eyes, the insanity of our cast of characters, especially the ahegao faces from the female characters. That's all gone.

Lol Mikura's face of horror, Kakegurui really has great details when it comes to facial expressions.

I really liked the visuals in the ED, the animation looked real smooth.

The manga is awesome and the yuri there is plenty too :) i really liked Mary from the original series so im glad that she got her own anime too. Though i really wish netflix was out of the picture

I dunno If you read the manga but as you can guess the skipped gamble is something that happened in the first chapter of the manga that got skipped over in the anime as they made only 6 episode for this
